The Non Metallic Materials Technological Centre offers two groups of different services: on one hand R+D+I activities (projects and technical assistance) and technological services oriented to the refractory, ceramic material industries, composites, plastics, minerals raw materials, building materials; and, on the other hand, Metrology and Training-Quality Services for industry in General.

The Metrology service includes Calibration or Voluntary Metrology and Legal Metrology. The calibration capacity includes Temperature, Pressure, Electric, Dimensional and Mass areas. The working areas in Legal Metrology are Fluids (including gas analysers), Volumetry, Weighing and Electric (including sound meters). + info
