Active Coating Group objective is to provide added value to metallic and non-metallic materials by nanometre / micrometer scales thin film application. The group is composed of high qualified staff as well as high technology equipment (PVD-sputter and VHF-cluster-PECVD tools).

- Colour analyse by spectrophotometer – Non-destructive trial.
- Reflectance and transmission characterisation by spectrophotometer.
- Thickness and surface roughness analyse of nanometric layers (min. 10 nm) by mechanical profilometer.
- Electrical properties (resistivity – max 1011 .cm, photoconductivity)
- Photovoltaic efficiency (solar cell)
- Structural and morphological characterization by SEM and XRD techniques
