The Steel and Metallic Materials Technological Centre is a specialized centre that offers support services to the applied research and to innovation in metal industry, in their first transformation, in its final applications and in the advising service for the development of processes and products.

The centre is integrated in the Foundation ITMA, a body that has been collaborating and proposing competitive and innovative solutions to the industrial sector since 1991.

Its activity is mainly focused on the steel and metal-mechanic sector, taking in a wide variety of industrial sectors:

• Transformation of basic products (steel industry and foundries).
• Equipment goods and building.
• Consume, transport and energy.

Regarding metal:

• Non ferrous materials (alloys and corrosion resistant).
• Ferrous materials (steels and castings).
