ITMA Materials Technology turns 25 years old
| In July 5th 1990, members of a group of companies from Asturias region met in Constituent Assembly, agreeing to constitute an union called as Research Association on Materials and Raw Materials, that later turned into ITMA Materials Technology, as it is known at present.
Nowadays, ITMA Materials Technology promotes the execution of R&D&I activities, in the areas of expertise within the Foundation (Steel & metallurgy, Refractories & Raw Materials, Electronics, Nanotechnology, Engineering and Photonics), as well as the use of its Technological Services (Metrology, Chemical Analysis and Structural Integrity). The experience acquired all along these 25 years includes the performance of several research projects, both directly with companies as in consortium, technical assistances, and an important volume of publications and patents, that can be consulted at www.itma.es . The knowledge generated at ITMA aims to be part of the solution for the challenges defined in research on materials globally. For all of these reasons, the team of professionals that make up ITMA wishes to express their gratitude to the trustees, clients and suppliers for placing your trust in us, and we are looking forward to collaborate in the future with the same dedication, commitment, professionalism, effort and renewed hopes. |
